Children who lost one or both of their parents to the second wave of COVID-19 will be benefitted under Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojana. On the inauguration of the scheme, the Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan distributed an amount of Rs. 5000 per children, 173 from 130 families. It will be a monthly aid provisioned for the well-being of those who have lost their parents to the pandemic.
During this virtual program, Chouhan interacted with the beneficiaries of the scheme. The presence of all the Aganwadi workers of the state was also counted during the event.
To your knowledge, Mukhyamantri Covid-19 Bal Seva Yojana is an immediate relief based scheme to provide assistance to those whose parents succumbed to Covid. This came into effect on May 21, 2021. Under this, a monthly stipend of Rs. 5000/child and arrangement of free ration and eduction of the children will be covered.
Chouhan assured all possible help to the helpless children. Expressing his empathy towards them he said the agony of these children is not unknown to him. They shouldn’t feel they have no one to look after them. We will hold their fingers and like a parent, the government pledges to bestow all redound to their shiny future.
